Meet Our Board

Cynthia Wyatt founded "In Kayla's Korner" in honor of her late daughter, aiming to create a lasting legacy in her memory. This heartfelt initiative reflects Cynthia's profound commitment to preserving her daughter's spirit and impact, ensuring that Kayla's legacy continues to inspire and uplift others. Through "In Kayla's Korner," Cynthia channels her grief into positive action, dedicating herself to supporting and empowering youth in the community, a testament to her resilience and enduring love for her daughter.  She founded the nonprofit organization, "In Kayla's Korner,"  to supporting and empowering youth through mentorship, education, and recreational opportunities.

Cynthia is a dedicated professional with a passion for both community service, the healthcare industry and sports industry. She began her academic journey at Seminole High School, where she excelled academically and actively participated in extracurricular activities. Following high school, Cynthia pursued further education for a short stent at Seminole State College, formerly known as Seminole Community College, where she laid the foundation for her future endeavors.

With a keen interest in healthcare, Cynthia enrolled in the Ultimate Medical Academy certificate program, where she gained valuable skills and knowledge in the field. Eager to expand her horizons, she recently  graduated from New York University (NYU) online with a certificate in Fundamental of Sports Management, reflecting her diverse interests and commitment to lifelong learning.

Cynthia's professional journey has been marked by significant achievements and leadership roles. For over a decade, she served as an Operations Manager in the plasma industry. Her dedication and expertise led her to the role of Regional Operations Manager in the dental field, where she continued to excel and make a positive impact.

Her commitment to both her professional endeavors and community initiatives serves as an inspiration to those around her, demonstrating the power of passion and perseverance in making a meaningful difference in the world.

   Danelle Littles, our dedicated new Director and Board member at In Kayla's Korner. With over 18 years of experience as a professional educator within the K-12 public school system, Danelle brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to our organization.

Danelle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education, a Master of Education degree in Education Leadership from the University of Central Florida (UCF), and an Education Specialist degree in Organizational Leadership from Grand Canyon University. Her extensive academic background reflects her commitment to continuous learning and growth within the field of education.

Throughout her career, Danelle has taught students from kindergarten to ninth grade across various content areas. Her expertise extends beyond the classroom as she serves as a tutor for elementary students in math, reading, science, and writing, as well as providing support to middle and high school students in reading, writing, and college preparation.

With experience as a reading and gifted teacher for elementary students, Danelle has demonstrated a deep understanding of diverse learning needs and a dedication to fostering academic excellence.

At In Kayla's Korner, we are thrilled to welcome Danelle Littles aboard as our new Director and Board member. Her lifelong dedication to education and her commitment to empowering students align perfectly with our mission, and we look forward to the positive impact she will undoubtedly make within our organization and the communities we serve.

   Amber Griffin-Frazier, a dedicated professional and treasurer for the nonprofit organization, In Kayla's Korner. A proud alumna of Seminole High School and the University of Central Florida, Amber has cultivated over 15 years of invaluable experience in the commercial and BPO industries. Currently, she holds the esteemed position of Assistant Vice President of Commercial Operations at Truist Bank, where her expertise in finance and operations shines brightly. With her unwavering commitment to excellence, Amber plays a pivotal role in advancing the mission of In Kayla's Korner, ensuring its financial stability and success 

  Nicholas Hishon, a distinguished member of the board for In Kayla's Korner. With a robust background in the healthcare sector, Nicholas has held managerial roles in the plasma industry, served as a director of a radiology center, and excelled as a clinical quality assurance officer. Complementing his civilian career, Nicholas proudly serves as an Airman 1st Class - Flight Medic in the United States Air Force, embodying a profound commitment to service and excellence. His extensive expertise in healthcare, coupled with his military background, enriches our board's diverse perspectives and strengthens our mission. Notably, Nicholas has worked closely with Cynthia in the plasma industry, demonstrating his collaborative spirit and deep industry knowledge. We are privileged to have Nicholas's leadership and dedication guiding our organization forward." 

   Erin Wyatt is a compassionate individual with a strong commitment to serving youth in her community. As the aunt of Kayla, she brings a deeply personal connection to the nonprofit organization, In Kayla's Korner, where she will be joining the Board of Directors.

Erin's journey began at Seminole High School, where she cultivated her passion for helping others and actively participated in community service initiatives. Building upon this foundation, Erin pursued her education and earned her degree as a licensed massage therapist. Through her studies and professional experience, she developed a profound understanding of the importance of holistic wellness and the power of healing touch.

Driven by her desire to make a positive impact, Erin is eager to contribute her skills and expertise to In Kayla's Korner. With a keen focus on youth development and well-being, she is committed to advancing the organization's mission of providing mentorship, education, and recreational opportunities to young people in need.

Erin's dedication to serving others, coupled with her genuine empathy and warmth, makes her a valuable addition to the Board of Directors. Her unique perspective and unwavering passion for youth empowerment will undoubtedly help guide In Kayla's Korner towards continued success in fulfilling its vital mission within the community.
